As a hiring manager, I understand the challenges that come from interviewing candidates for your team.  I know because AskAway was born out of this frustration.  I needed to build a tool that would give me my time back.  This is the result of what we built.

MEET BEFORE YOU MEET

Watching a video clip of your candidate allows you to see your candidate answering your pre-screening questions.  You get to see and evaluate non-verbal cues and by the time you meet in person, there will be no surprises. No surprises = Good

BUILD A CONSISTENT INTERVIEW

It doesn’t matter which timezone your candidate lives in, you can prepare an interview event with your questions and invite as many candidates as you want.  Your candidate will take the interview at his convenience, and you will watch it at yours.

VIDEO CLIPS ARE MUCH BETTER

If your candidate does not have a fast network connection, live interviews are awful.  Pre-recorded video clips are always clear because they do not rely on the speed of the internet connection.  They are recorded locally and uploaded as they are answered.  You will always hear your candidate loud and clear. 

NOTES FOR ALL QUESTIONS

You can comment on each of the clips you watch, and rate each answer from one to five stars.  Compliance is easy when there is a detailed explanation on the score you give.  Audits?  Bring ’em.

NEED PANELISTS?

Adding panel members to your interview is very simple, just enter their email at the time you create your interview, and they will be invited to review the clips after the interview is completed.

COMPARE CANDIDATES

Summarize all interview information in one single grid where you can see which candidate performed the best based on scores.  Need to remember how a candidate answer the question?  Just click on the play button where the candidate and question meet.  Yes, it is that simple.

RATE THE ANSWERS

Give an immediate feedback of your impression on how the candidate answered each question.  These ratings will help you decide which candidate is the best.

SECOND OPINION?

Sometimes we need a second opinion on a candidate –or candidates.  Maybe they are a better fit for other team, so why not just share the interview with other managers?  No need for yet another interview.
